We offer various Fire and Life Safety Trainings and Services. Take a look at the list below for a description of all of our classes and services. Further descriptions can be found on the "Blog and Documents Page." In Person Classes

First Aid

$40/person

Injuries can happen anywhere at anytime. Many of these injuries can be life threatening or lead to further problems. Broken bones, severe bleeding, strokes, heart attacks, and allergic reactions are just a few of the possible conditions you'll learn to recognize and treat. This is an HSI course and can be focused on adults or children. 

CPR and AED

$35/person

Sudden cardiac arrests can happen with little to no notice. When this happens, seconds count. The heart has stopped pumping blood to all the vital organs. In as little as 10 minutes after experiencing a cardiac arrest, the person has little to no chance of survival. Learn the skills to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use an Automated Emergency Defibrillator (AED) and give someone the best chance of survival. This is an HSI course and can be focused on adults, children, orinfants

Active Shooter Immediate Response Training (AVIRT)

$40/person

Active Violence Immediate Response Training (formerly Active Violence Emergency Response Training AVERT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVIRT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims. This program is offered in-person, blended, or fully online. This is an HSI course.

BLS Provider

$45/person

Geared more towards medical professionals, such as dentists, first responders, nurses, and more, this class gives you an in depth look at how to perform high quality CPR on all age groups. This class focuses on teamwork, high quality compressions, minimal interruptions, and other skills needed to improve the quality of CPR. This is an HSI course

Bloodborne Pathogens

$25/person

This training program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. This bloodborne pathogens certification course assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030). This is an HSI course.

Stop Life Threatening Bleeding

$30/person

A person with a severe bleeding injury can bleed out in less than 5 minutes. The average response time of an ambulance in the united stated is 7 minutes. Learn the necessary skills to stop severe bleeding and buy someone the extra few minutes that they need. This is an HSI course. 

Emergency Vehicle Driver Training (EVDT/EMSVO)

$400/class

Geared towards operators of emergency vehicles such as firefighters, medical personnel, police officers, and anyone else who might fall into this classification, this class provides the need information to safely respond to emergencies in all conditions. The class ends with a competency course to ensure the driver is able to operate the vehicle effectively. This training is based on VFIS training requirements.

Fire Extinguisher Training

$20/person

Local fire departments responded to 1,353,500 fires in 2021. These fires caused 3,800 civilian deaths, 14,700 civilian injuries and $15.9 billion in property damage. With this class you'll learn to identify various types of fire extinguishers, how to use them, and how to stay safe while doing so, in an effort to lessen the above numbers.

Fire Safety

$20/person

What is fire? How can I prevent fires? If a fire happens what do I do? Who do I call? No the answer is not Ghostbusters... that's a different problem. All these questions and more will be answered. Learn how to keep your facility safe and, in the event that something does happen, how to keep your people safe.

Traffic Incident Management (TIM)

$50/person

Working on the highway is a very dangerous job. In 2023 14 Law Enforcement Officers, 8 Fire/EMS workers, 20 Tow Operators, and 3 DOT workers were struck and killed on US Roadways. This doesn't account for any unreported incidents or injuries. Learn how to safely work on a roadway and keep yourself and your crew safe. This class is applicable to anybody who works on the roadway, not just LEOs, firefighters, and EMS personnel.

Patient Handling

$20/person

One of the most common tasks that medical care professionals perform is lifting patients. Whether they are assisting the patient from a chair to an exam table, from the floor to a wheelchair, or from their bed onto a stretcher, this class will go over correct and safe lifting practices along with reviewing manufacturer specific information on all types of medical chairs, beds, tables, etc.

Wilderness First Aid

$75/person

Accidents don't always happen in convenient places. You may be hours from the closest help. This class will teach you how to better prepare yourself for wilderness emergencies. We cover bleeding control, bites, breaks, environmental emergencies, and more. Improvisation is the name of the game in wilderness first aid. You'll just have to make it work. This is an HSI course.

Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS)

$30/person

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The program teaches how to get started with a business, working with parents and children, and key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips. The magazine-format CABS guide and vlogger-style video make learning fun. This is an HSI course.
